Professor Langellier teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in performance studies–how people engage in speech play and performance and what happens when they do. She also teaches courses in communication theory and is a faculty in Women’s Studies and Franco-American Studies. Her research, using phenomenological and feminist methodologies, focuses on personal narrative, especially women’s storytelling, family storytelling, and the politics of storytelling.
